The challenge.

Amadeus wanted to create a sustainable giveaway at the IATA event, aiming to offer something memorable and valuable while aligning with the growing demand for environmentally responsible initiatives. The challenge was to come up with a creative idea that would stand out at the event, be relevant to attendees, and have a meaningful environmental impact, all while reinforcing Amadeus’s commitment to sustainability.

The approach.

To address this, we developed an interactive tool designed to offset the carbon footprint of attendees’ flights. The concept was simple but impactful: attendees could use the tool to calculate the carbon emissions of their flight to the event, and in return, Amadeus would offset those emissions through an environmental initiative. The tool offered an engaging, feel-good experience that aligned perfectly with the event’s sustainability goals while also offering attendees a tangible way to make a positive impact.

The outcome.

The sustainable giveaway became a standout feature at the IATA event, drawing attention and positive feedback from attendees. It not only showcased Amadeus’s commitment to sustainability but also generated strong engagement and social buzz. The interactive tool offered a memorable, actionable way for attendees to participate in a sustainability initiative, reinforcing Amadeus’s position as an environmentally-conscious leader in the travel industry.

Working with the team at Prism is an absolute delight. They are my go-to agency for content creation and rather than an external agency, they are more like an extension of our internal team. The team delivers work ahead of deadlines and to a high standard - both creatives and copy. They have created many wonderful videos, infographics, social media cards, and banners for us over the years. Iterations are made efficiently and always done with a smile. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an agency that is not afraid to think outside the box.
