The Amadeus Selling Platform Connect (SECO) is an existing platform, crafted for travel agents to empower them to connect to travel content, explore the best deals and service their customers.
In 2023, the platform had undergone some major developments and updates, with an exciting roadmap for future development. They needed to communicate these exciting updates to their existing, and potentially new, users to educate them on the platform’s extended value. To achieve this, they reached out to Prism, and together we planned a go-to-market product re-launch.
Phase 1 covered the development of a new strategic messaging framework, to ensure that the value of the platform – both the newer features and more established benefits - were clear and communicated.
We connected with key product stakeholders and were involved in various platform demonstrations to be fully emersed in the product throughout this process. The output of this was an internal messaging framework document to be used by the marketing team, including 3 value pillars, and hero strapline to underpin the entire campaign.
Next, we developed several creative concepts, using the new Amadeus brand to bring the messaging and value to life. This was rolled out, along with newly-written copy, across a multitude of go-to-market assets – such as presentation templates, email banners, online banners, sales presentations, and social cards.
In addition, we worked on scriptwriting, storyboarding and producing five promotional and product videos including a hero video, an individual video for each of the three messaging pillars and a demo video to promote their new hotel user interface.
Lastly, the team at Amadeus were interested in exploring engaging digital gamification, as another awareness and education asset to leverage. The quiz, designed and built by Prism, featuring a leader board, works to both promote and train customers on the new SECO features.
This exciting project – covering strategy, messaging, creative, copywriting, art-working, video production, and digital development – required collaboration across several team to execute the product re-launch.
